GIRLS RUGBY
Flag Rugby is a fun, all-inclusive way to introduce young girls to the fundamental skills of rugby with a big emphasis on having fun! No experience is needed to play and all are welcome to come try it out!
Girls Rugby Inc will be running a well-established training program designed especially for girls in grades 2 - 8 at our home training ground Tom Watson Park here in Boulder.
Flag Rugby substitutes a traditional “tackle” with a flag pull. Flag Rugby is perfect for new players!
Fall 2024 Season Details
Location: Tom Watson Park
Day/Time: Tuesday’s 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM during September - October. Practices begin the week of September 9th.
Early Bird Cost – Save $25 – (Expires August 26th, 2024):
Returning Players – $135 (Returning players can opt to purchase additional jerseys, socks, etc. if desired)
New Players – $210 (Includes full season, 2 jerseys, shorts, socks, Rugby Playbook, and rugby ball).
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE.
Registration Costs (August 27th and later): $160 Returning Players / $235 New Players
Season Duration: September 9th – October 27th
Teams will practice 1-2 weeknights per week and have game days on Sundays. Practice days and times will vary based on location (scroll down to see specific dates/times based on team location).

Practices start September 10th (Practices for Week 1 will be Tuesday (September 10th) and Thursday (September 12th).
All remaining weeks will practice on Tuesdays.
Games start on September 22nd, and are held every Sunday from 2 PM - 4 PM.

TEAM EQUIPMENT
Membership includes programming for 7 weeks led by Girls Rugby staff, access to qualified coaches and referees for practices and games, Girls Rugby Membership, accident and liability insurance, a rugby playbook, and an official Girls Rugby Ball. New players will also receive Jerseys (home and away), Shorts and Socks!
